When ever we meet up you think i’m not listening to you but i am its just well

your lips are something i cant ignore

the full bottom and top that accentuates your already apparent attractiveness

is something that demands attention 

you haven’t even kissed me 

but i imagine your lips on mine the same

the energy flow that passes through bodies when they make a connection 

physical in nature 

but spiritual in the same way 

the lips are a buffer between thoughts and the world for the most part 

but their special function can connect us in ways no words ever could 

you finish talking i nod and smile 

and you smile back.

where do i begin,

no doorway into a soul that tries to be impenetrable

what happens when you turn your conscience off and just act 

when you move like a reanimated corpse and nothing has your back but chaos

all the troubles of your life mean nothing because you can’t feel them 

no moving forward when your mind for sees an end 

and your life becomes an anticipation of that very thing 

it becomes your only reason for living 

you feel all-powerful over the powerlessness 

because it was a prison of your own design 

you know there is a way out but think why give up the only thing thats truly mine

and when people in your life leave you alone as they will in time 

illusions tell you thats the time to open your doors and shine

but there is no more 

no glory to be had 

you will have reached your end 

your story will be one of your creation 

a soul impenetrable 

and all alone

… then you die.
